The Dow Chemical Companyhas opportunities forintern graduate PhD scientistswho are interested in a career in research and development. Opportunities exist across the R&D function and are aligned with various organizations and business units in a variety of locations includingTexas, Michigan, Pennsylvania andothers. We are seeking candidates who are strong and have expertise in one or more of the following areas: chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, polymer science, theoretical modeling, mechanical engineering as well as other dimensions of chemical or materials sciences. Interns will work with project teams to solvechemical- and material-related problemsthrough both fundamental and applied research. The types of projects span from product research to process research to application development. Examples include new molecule or material synthesis, process scale up, reaction engineering and study and application of structure-property relationships to new product development.

Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science or related disciplines.
